I love vegas. I've lived there for 10 years. What I love about vegas is actually the mountains around it. So many memories there. I visit twice a year during mild weather windows to hike. I usually leave by early may, and early december.

The upgrade doesn't have an AC adapter for recharging?

I’m partial to the Anker Power Station, I have found that by adding a DC to DC converter (Adjustable to 30 volts) and upping the volts from 12 to 24 at 20 amps I can produce a higher charging wattage, at 24 volts I get 480 watts of charging power @ 30 volts it’s 600 watts. This means that I can charge much faster when driving just off the 12 Volt system. I did run a 30 amp circuit with a relay just for the DC to DC converter from the battery, this keeps the system from charging when the motor is not running to prevent discharging the vehicle battery.

When RV camping/hiking always take a weapon to defend yourself against all types of predators. Any gun type is good at least an 8" blade survivor knife. I carry a modified 5-foot walking staff that I snap my knife on to have a ready spare. I also carry some M80 firecrackers(to scare off unwanted intruders) and mace (for bears). It is a good idea to have a motion sensor LED garden light and a loud horn too even a 900-mile laser pointer can be used defensively blinding the eyes of monsters and signaling. If you hear weird noise outside light a M80 throw it out the window after the loud bang thing quiet down. If not shout out "I have a gun and if I have to come out you will pay dearly."

Can you tell what the retail price is? Looks like a great product but I don’t know if it’s $500 or $5000 unless I missed it in your video. I’m looking to get a similar size van in the next few months and I’m trying to figure out costs to customize it.

Warranties are useless if companies don't stand by their warranties or make it extremely difficult to get some issue taken care of. I find most Chinese companies hit or miss in their customer service expectations. Mostly a giant miss, but there are a few that perform better than expected. It would be interesting to know customers experiences with warranty issues from various company players in this space..

Jasonoid does a lot of really good, in depth, real world tests with portable power stations. He has a lot of knowledge & tests against the specs the companies claim.

Expansion batteries seem like a ripoff because they charge almost the same price as just buying another full unit with less functionality.

There are videos out there about how to hook up generic LifePo4 or even li ion battery packs as expansion packs to many battery power stations. Easier with some models than others. Probably power station that are set up to accept expansion power already are going to be easier. All lithium batteries like to hang out around 40% for longest battery life, so that's what you should leave the at if you are not using them. If you need them on stand by, 80% isn't bad a bad choice. If you know you are going to use ever little bit of 100% and starting right away, that is the only time you want to go for 100% charge. All these power stations are totally solar panels ready (with the right adapter cable) and those are not that expensive. You just need a size of solar panel you can physically easily handle and a place to prop them up. This is good in hurricane situations because you just have solar panels you stash under your bed until the sun comes out again, and they won't get ripped off your roof in a storm.

Dehydrating yourself even more with the noodle. No insulation. 114 degrees. Not parked in shade. Not having hair up. 👀 not drinking enough water or electrolytes?

The EcoFlow 800w alternator charger is a game changer. Have mine set up in my hybrid car and it charges my Delta 2 in just over an hour. Will never use solar panels again on a vehicle.

Have NEVER heard a promoter state a) Warranty and does it start at purchase or beginning of use b) RE: Warranty claims does the buyer have to pay shipping to send unit back? c) Does distributor have A repair station IN the U.S.? d) Will MFG send out a replacement till warranty coverage repairs are done? We had our large works trucks and we would work at a construction site, we had inverters with large fans under the truck, after the first day, everyone saw us coming and raced out and rolled up their windows, I hope these fans do not kick up so much dust.

My first power station was the Anker 2,000 wh. I now have the Anker Solix F3800 and love it. My microwave and air fryer need the power but not for long run times. Anker has been very helpful with support. Hint about expansion boxes… The solar inputs can be wired to a battery bank. This allows remote batteries to be supplemental power sources when not needing solar. Each bank can provide 120watts of power x2 or 240watts total. I am full time nomad in Class B van. The most economical power source is my van alternators. What is nice about Anker is recharging at 1500 watts. My average load is about 150-200 watts. I have a 3/4 size refrigerator and an AC unit that will pull 1,000 watts. The total system cost was about $4,000 so it is not cheap. But was half cost of an RV shop wiring job.

Since you own the Jackery 1000 V2 you can just plug in AC to charge and read the screen and it will tell you the watts in. For new people reading this, It will be full power going in around 50% full and it slows down as it gets nearer to full charge. My guess is that AI gave you the incorrect number. 800 might be the Solar charging upper limit ? that's what it is for the 1000_Plus model. I think the AC input on the 1000 Plus is 1200 W. so the V2 would be close to that? Also the Jacker100 Plus model is the one that is expandable with the expansion battery of 1264 Wh,. I don't think the 1000 V2model is expandable. The Jackery 1000 Plus might be a better comparison to these. Although it cost more, $845 when on sale, but it has 1264 Wh and 2000 watts output, 4000 surge. (microwave, coffee makers) Perhaps that belongs on your next chart for mid size stations? My favorite in that next size up category would be the Pecron E1500 with 1536Wh and 2200 watts output only $645 from Pecron.com after 5% discount code GO GREEN. No sales tax but your bank may charge a Foreign transaction fee of 3 % when using a debit card.

I think you were ripped off. $175 hour $2,000 install "AC, Heater, and electrical" I learned how to build an Air Conditioner, for small spaces. I never thought I could learn how to do something like this from another person on the internet. There are many different DYI projects on the internet, so if you spend time looking like I have then you could have learned how to build an air conditioner, and set it up yourself wherever you want. You have no problems with talking, but it looks like you have a problem with thinking, and learning. Regarding myself I watched a lot of videos of how to: build AC, and how to build an electrical system, and how to warm up a home. There are much more videos I watched, and not only on the topics I mentioned. If I ever get an opportunity to buy a piece of property while having income coming in at the same time then I would be able to invest in all kinds of stuff, so I can try to build what I want.

Good information- One correction: when you're talking about the expansion packs for the Segway, that is expandable to 5KWh, not 5000KWh. There's a big difference between 5000 watt hours and 5,000,000 watt hours!

At $5,000+ it's going to be a hard pass for me. But really cool looking system, wish they could bring prices down.

I've never camp in my life, but I've noticed I've been watching a lot of vanlife for the last 4 years. It is very interesting to me, because I keep telling myself when I retire from my job this is what I am planning to do. Just get me a camper van and just go across the U.S. Toilet is my biggest thing I gotta have, especially for night time.
